Ole Ray's Kentucky Gold Bourbon BBQ Sauce

Cole Slaw Ingredients

  • 8 ounces shredded coleslaw mix
  • 2 tablespoons Ole Rays’ Kentucky Gold Bourbon BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ¼ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper

Pork Burger Ingredients

  • 5 pounds lean ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 6 hamburger buns, split

Recipe Procedure

Mix the honey and BBQ sauce from the slaw ingredients.

Put the coleslaw in a bowl. Add the honey/BBQ sauce mixture, orange juice, salt and pepper. Mix well.

Place the ground pork in a bowl. Add the Worcestershire sauce, onion, salt and pepper. Mix well and make the pork patties. The size to make is about 3 patties per 1.5 of pork.

Set up the grill for direct cooking and high heat. Grill one side of the pork patties, then flip and apply a thin layer of the Ole Ray’s BBQ Sauce. When you flip the patties a second time, apply another layer of the Ole Ray’s BBQ Sauce.

Build your Pork BBQ Burgers and add the slaw to the top of the burgers.
