Dugan and Dame Ghost Pepper Bitters allow you to create cocktails that showcase the flavor of the drink with a slow increasing heat that satisfies the imbiber that wants spice, without drowning out the other ingredients in the cocktail.
When friends started growing Ghost Peppers locally, we just had to find a home for them to be showcased. The beauty of the ghost pepper is in its slow heat- the heat creeps up slowly, really allowing the flavor of the pepper to shine through.
An initial balanced mix of spice with a thought of ‘this isn’t so bad...’ But wait for it — and then the heat makes its grand appearance and you realize it's too late to back out! They don’t call them ghost peppers for nothing.

Great for margaritas or any cocktail that needs a little heat. Plays well with Tequila, Mezcal & Whiskey.
3.38 FL oz.
- 2 oz Tanteo Chipotle Tequila
- .25 oz Hibiscus syrup
- .5 oz Angostura cocoa bitters
- 5 dashes Bitter Ghost Cocktail Bitters
- 2 dashes vanilla
- 1 egg white
- Crushed Candy Cane Rim
Rim glass. Combine ingredients in a shaker and dry shake well.
Add ice and shake another 15 seconds. Double strain into rimmed glass.
- 1 oz Mezcal
- 1 oz Silver Tequila
- 1/4 oz agave
- 1/2 oz lime
- 1 1/2 oz pomegranate
- 1 egg white
- 5-6 dashes Dugan and Dame Bitter Ghost Bitters
Rim glass by lightly dipping glass into agave then rolling the rim in black lava salt. Combine mezcal, tequila, agave, lime, pomegranate juice, egg white and Ghost Pepper Bitters in a shaker without ice. Shake well for 10-15 seconds. Add ice and shake well for another 10-15 seconds. Double strain into a coupe glass and serve.
