Tulip Poplar Honey is a darker rich honey. Very pleasant, with no strong taste like that associated with sme other dark honeys. Very good for cooking and baking.
The tulip poplar is a magnificent, tall tree with large greenish-yellow flowers that are quite memorable when viewed. The tree generally blooms in the month of May.
Tulip Poplar honey is produced from southern New England to southern Michigan and south to the Gulf states east of the Mississippi. It has many applications in baking and cooking.
