The Ghost Chili Pepper has arrived! Made with Naga Jolokia peppers, but with awesome flavor.
The slight sweetness of both the Jolokia and the tomatoes hit first. This quickly gives way to some garlic, but not over-powering. Next comes the slightly astringent taste of vinegar mixing with onion. Following that is the salt, lightly enhancing all the flavors and wrapping them up for the slight side of the mouth grabbing citric acid finish.
Many Naga Jolokia hot sauces try to "blow you away with heat". With Mad Cow there is an equal emphasis on heat and flavor.
Originally developed in Australia, Chilli Head Gourmet Foods has updated their sauce with Jolokias and it's now available in the U.S.A.
An awesome addition to steaks (no pun intended), chili, soups, pizza and wings. Can also be used on unwanted guests and unfaithful partners!
5 oz Bottle. Heat 7 to 8 (on a scale of 10).
