As a child growing up in St. Petersburg, Florida, Tony Kreger always had a passion for cooking. He followed that passion, and after high school, enrolled into the Florida Culinary Institute in West Palm Beach Fl. After receiving his degree, he began his career at the bottom of the culinary ladder working his way up. He went on to become the executive chef at one of Palm Beach's most prominent country clubs. Later he took an executive chef position in Tupelo, Mississippi, where he came up with his own recipe for barbeque sauce.
