CrackerHouse Sauces "Fire" Datil Pepper Hot Sauce is a sweet Fire blend of St. Augustine Datil Peppers and Jalapeno Peppers. Simple and Fresh. Chuck over at CrackerHouse Sauces grows his own Datil Peppers to control the quality and flavor of this pepper sauce.
Fire Hot Sauce is less hot than a traditional Habanero based sauce, but it packs plenty of heat with the sweet flavor of the Datil Pepper. Try this sauce with wild rice, in Chili, on eggs or in any sauce where you want to add a little "sweet heat".
About 20 years ago CrackerHouse Sauces received a Datil Pepper plant as a gift and the original "Sweet and Sassy sauce of the South" was born. The family still grows their own Datil peppers. CrackerHouse Sauces began as a simple homemade recipe enjoyed by friends and families and are now available for you.
