Cattaneo Brothers Hot Pepper Extra Thin-Cut Beef Jerky
Cattaneo Brothers Hot Pepper Extra Thin-Cut Jerky is made with the same quality beef as the thick-Cut and the Cowboy-Cut.
It gets its name from being sliced "extra thin"-- about 1/8 inch thick strips. Plus, after we remove this jerky from the oven, we cut it into bite-sized pieces. It is super easy to tear and chew.
Made with habanero peppers, our hot pepper jerky is for those who crave hot and spicy food. This jerky is spicy in your throat, not on your tongue.
The Cattaneo Brothers tradition started with two brothers, Bill and Pino Cattaneo who moved with their family to the U.S.A. from the northern region of Italy in 1920.
They landed in Boston and then traveled by train to San Luis Obispo, California where other relatives already lived. The two boys entered the butcher trade and worked for various firms, finally settling with Berkemeyer’s market, a famous retail outlet for meats located on Higuera Street. Eventually, they took $200 of their own money and started Cattaneo Brothers.
Many a famous person has snacked on Cattaneo Brothers Beef Jerky including Actor Tim Allen, President Ronald Reagan, Former National Security Advisor William Clark, the Emperor of Japan, the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team and many more.
