Black Currant Jelly has a distinctive, bold, and pleasantly tart flavor. With four times the vitamin c as oranges and twice antioxidants as blueberries, you will eat this jelly even if it didn't taste so good!
Blackcurrant berries have a distinctive sweet and sharp taste and are popular in jams, juices, ice cream, liquers and mixed with cider. Some prefer adding a small amount of blackcurrant juice to Guinnes to heighten the taste of the popular stout.
